Pricing questions
Is there really a free trial?
10 pages, lifetime, no credit card. That is enough to transcribe a small notebook and judge whether the quality is worth paying for.
What counts as one page?
One image or one PDF page counts as one page. Rotating, cropping, or re-running a transcription does not double-count. Failed pages are not charged.
How does the overage cap work?
On Personal you pay at most $20 in overage in any single billing period. On Heavy, $50. After the cap is hit you can keep transcribing within reason. The limit just stops the meter so you cannot accidentally rack up a $500 bill.
Do you offer refunds?
30-day money-back guarantee on every paid plan. Email support@handwritten.md within 30 days of your charge and we refund it, no questions asked.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from the customer portal. Upgrades are prorated immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
